The Mysterious Creature from Arizona

Many people are ignorant of science due to the fact that when they were in high school, science and math were usually deemed either the harder or the nerdier of the required courses. Many students did just enough to pass and dreamed of after school activities that were in no way, shape or form academic.

Over the last few years paranormal and ghost reality TV shows gained in popularity and took advantage of the gullible audiences lack of scientific understanding. Dust and camera defects became orbs, random noises and Ghostboxes manufactured E.V.P.s and tools used in other industries for specific purposes became favorites of want to be ghost hunters. The theories and practices of these tools and concepts had no bearing and are at the mercy of interpretation of the inexperienced user.

In the past, before the popularity of the internet, most information of academia was controlled, filtered and peer reviewed to check and insure for quality prior to being dispensed to the public, but in modern times and the rise of the internet and computer age any, and I do mean anyone can create a blog and build a following of people eager to believe whatever is being distributed. It is more comprised of science fiction as opposed to actual science.

A strange creature was found in Arizona by a man who contacted Todd Ray of the show Venice Beach Freak Show. After conversing for a bit Todd thought the man was going to send him photos of this creature but the actual animal was mailed.

"I don't want to call it an alien, but it's definitely alien in form." Todd Ray

Since Todd holds a Guinness World Record for his collection of two headed animals, we must not take his statement lightly that this is the weirdest thing that he has ever seen. It must be difficult for Todd to see "weird things" that continue to impress him since his daily business specializes in ..."weird".

"It's about a foot long and has gill-like ear things below the head. It's got weird eyes and something out of its mouth that looks like a fleshy fang..." Todd Ray

"I was contacted not long ago by a man from Arizona who said he had found a very strange creature in his yard. He told me it looked like it had gills under the head and that something was "growing out of it's head like a flesh antennae!" He was spooked by it and said that he believed this belong with me at the Freakshow. I told him that I would love to see it and I gave him my email. I thought he would send photos, but he never did. A few weeks later, a box showed up at the Freakshow with the creature in a jar of alcohol. This is the creature he told me about and it is STRANGER than I could have imagined……it is truly the Most Alien Creature I have ever seen in my life. Let me know what you think it is…..it is a mystery to everyone who sees it in person." Todd Ray

While researching background information for this piece, I contacted a few people to pick their brains to see what their opinion of this creature is.

Although the speculation concerning the thoughts and origins of this being varies many concur that it is either the fetus of a:

".....It looks to me like the skin has detached from the musculature and kind of shrunk back over the skull so that the face can be seen in the mouth." Dave Dorris

SHARK:

Scott Mardis (The Ayatollah of Plesiosaurs and specializes in marine biology) suggested that it could possibly be a shark and referenced the photos. "If it's a real animal, it looks like a deformed shark fetus to me. There is an obscure little shark with baggy skin like that. The Cookie Cutter Shark."

"Sharks have sexual organs called claspers that can sometimes look like legs with feet." stated Scott Mardis. So it might be possible if the shark was deformed, the "legs" barely seen in the video/photos may be claspers.

Many people did come to the same conclusion, they think that it is some sort of shark.
"No expert here. But too me it looks like a deep sea shark. As for the two toned skin color. When these things are brought up from the deep the difference in pressure might cause the body to become exaggerated or deformed. Maybe it's a sac that when deep under water has a function, but out of water and in a different pressure looks weird. The big eyes also to me give it away as a deep sea creature." Susen Freemyers

Others were thinking more along the lines of a land dwelling mammal. "...a fetal bear still in the amniotic sac." The vast majority of the suggestion as to what the species of this bizarre creature was centered around it being either a fetus or a deformity.

"It could certainly be an aborted/malformed fetus of any number of species but it appears to be an amalgam of different tissues, I can't help but notice that the tissue in the head appears to be embedded in the large "piece" around it (and does not match in consistency or color), eyes and body do not appear to be from the same source as the facial tissue." Others had to explore the option that it could have been fake due to the fact that over the years there have been many. In today's age, a special effects person could possibly conjure up a monster up to par and quality of any creature feature that you may see at the movies.

Ray is willing to get a DNA test conducted on this animal...that way we can get a definite answer as to what this mass of cells are. If a DNA test is conducted and the animal is identified, we will update the article.

The Legend of Boody Mill Road in Mantua, New Jersey

It seems that just about every town in New Jersey has some sort of lore and urban legend associated with them. Mantua New Jersey is of no exception; off of Route 45 there is a little side road named Boody Mill Road and has a gruesome story attached to it.

The day we visited this location it was a sunny day with blue skies and huge billowing clouds overhead, the previous few days were rainy and over cast, so this was a welcomed change. Traveling down the road, we passed several nice homes on a very twisting and narrow road, yes, truly a one laner.

Back in 1989 there was some controversy started:  
"......The road served as a dam for the lake. When the heavy rains poured into Gloucester County July 5, the old spillway pipe under the road cracked and gave in. The road's gravel, sand and blacktop caved in around the break, and the lake poured over it. Now, in place of the road is a gully 40 or 50 feet deep though which a stream rushes." A few hundred yards in we hit a dirt road that went on for several hundred more feet, and we started encountering deep mud puddles and didn't want to get the car stuck so we got out and continued on foot. After a short hike we found an opening on the side of the road and entered. Several bags of trash and hundreds of beer cans greeted us....along with several shelter shacks and shanties..looked more like a homeless hang out or a teenager party spot. The legendary house in the stories was gone, the trailer also. Not much here was left other than what looked like a party spot for wayward teens. One of the eeriest thing about this place was the lonely baby car seat left behind...

THE HISTORY/LEGEND:
Back in 1992, a guy and his wife got into an argument which resulted in her leaving him and his kids behind. He reportedly went insane over this new arrangement, so one night while his kids were sleeping, he torched the house with them inside of it, killing them all, and then went out back, sat in his truck, and shot himself in the head. Ever since this incident, the torched house supposedly remained haunted. Legend has it,  everything in the house was burnt to a crisp except for a table with a bible sitting on top of it.

The bible is a little blackened, but in no way burnt up as you would expect in a fire, and still is legible. Across from the charred house is an open field, and if you park your car on that field at night and face it towards the house, you will see things. Supposedly if you are quiet, you can hear the sound of little kids playing out in that field, but why would young kids be playing outside past midnight? Sometimes you will hear something tapping on your car, and other times you might get a quick glimpse of somebody's face in your rear view mirror.

Since we released this story a few years back many people contacted us asking us to retract the story since they live on the street and are tired of the endless sightseers that trespass on the property and are not respectful to the residents of the street. Baby Monster

Deep within King County in Washington state there is Saar Pioneer Cemetery which is the home to a highly interesting grave with a rather unique name shrouded in mystery. The final resting places are marked by Baby Monster (1888-1889) and John C. Monster (1851-1890) .

Birth: Jan. 9, 1851
Death: Apr. 4, 1890

Spouse:
Anna Marie Nelson Monster (1861 - 1920)

Children:
Christina Monster Mallory (1880 - 1903)
Baby Monster (1888 - 1889)

Stumbling across this stone unaware of the history you can only imagine the stories that go through people's heads when they first gain sight of this. Creepy? Yes, but here is some of the associated history concerning the Monster family. This unnamed baby with only a last name was born on October 23, 1888 and died on February 3rd, 1889 in its 3rd month of life. On the rare side these days
due to great strides in medical care, infant mortality was quite common during this time period. Death is greedy and will take anyone regardless of their age. The baby Monster was buried alongside her father John C. Monster who was born in 1851 and died in 1890, a year after Baby Monster passed. John's name is listed directly above baby Monster's name on the stone.

The location of this grave is also kind of odd, it is hugged by the parking lot of a Win Co Foods parking lot.

John was married to Anna Marie Nelson Monster who was born in 1861 and passed in 1920. Some state that she is also buried in the same graveyard, but in an unmarked grave. Anna, like many overs buried in unmarked graves, is honored on a public tombstone within the graveyard. There are two more members of the Monster Family buried in unmarked graves.  One is a female born in January of 1912 without a death date listed.  The other is a male born 9 months later in October of 1912 who died at the age of 2 days old.

It is unclear if Anna is the biological mother of these children due to the fact that she would have been in her 50's. Records do show that Anna and John did give birth to a child by the name of Christina in 1880, who went on to marry a man by the name of Charles Mallory, but she died in 1903.

Despite all, it is a mystery and something to speculate over as to why this Baby Monster was never given a first name on its tombstone. It is possible that the child was never baptized, or if the stone itself was installed later on well after all people passed that might have known the baby's name.
